On May 25th, 1977 and 1983 respectively, both Star Wars A New Hope and Return of the Jedi came into our lives. That’s worthy of a gift.
We Star Wars fans are being spoiled silly these days with exciting news, like the exciting new content that was just released about Rogue One this past week, including a giant visual reminder that we’ll be seeing Darth Vader on the big screen again. A few years back, however…oh, you know, during that time when we didn’t even know that Force Awakens was going to exist, and way before it was confirmed that Alden Ehrenreich was slated to play a young(er) Han Solo in the upcoming 2018 film, we were happy just knowing that the the galaxy far, far away was out there somewhere, even if only in our mind-space. Well, back then, there still was a little website called StarWars.com – the issue was, with no movie in sight, there didn’t always exist a compelling reason to go spend time there.
As part of a new content strategy Lucasfilm was executing, creative play was key – particularly, ways to bring fans into the universe while still providing the opportunity for them to make it their own. Enter the delightful world of Star Wars: Ewok Village, a way to unwind, listen to the original cinematic Endor Theme (I personally could listen to it all day long), and build/maintain your very own village from the ground up. You haven’t gotten this interactive on Endor since you sprained your ankle at the local lumber yard in 1987 pretending you were an AT-ST tripping on a barrage of logs.
To commemorate the project’s completion, we created a few limited-edition posters for our clients. But for those who want some cool wall-swag, as of today, you can grab them, in glorious full print size, for your decorative needs. Have at em, and get right-clicking and Save-As-ing!
