Houghton Mifflin Harcourt is a powerhouse in educational material creation. In order to give attention to its wide variety of early education products, HMH took to the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) Annual Conference and Expo to showcase its offerings.
To help engage teachers visiting its space, Fuel created an interactive event piece using the Xbox Kinect Camera and none other than Pablo the frog from Curiosityville. Using their own hands as controllers, Pablo guides the users through the process of creating their very own paintings out of ‘thin air’. Once completed, the interface allows quick sharing to social. Teachers can also submit their email for subsequent information on HMH publications, products, and a host of ideas on kids interactive entertainment.

This experience showcases just one of the many tools and ideas HMH brings to the education space – and one of the many potential interactive tools for engaging kids that will be coming to classrooms in the coming years.
